Dosage of Anaprox DS
Patients suffering from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis need to take 550 mg or 275 mg twice a day as per a doctor’s prescription.
Those suffering from tendonitis, bursitis and menstrual cramps need to take the initial dose of Anaprox DS 550 mg. The succeeding doses may be prescribed as 550 mg after every 12 hours or 275 mg after every 6-8 hours.
Patients suffering from gout need to take 825 mg as the initial dose, followed by 275 mg after every 8 hours.
Your doctor may increase the Anaprox DS dose over time. The medication is not prescribed for young children.
