General Information on CeeNU
CeeNU is a drug which is used in the treatment of neoplastic diseases. The generic name of the drug is Iomustine. It belongs to the class of drugs known as nitrosoureas.
CeeNU is available in form of capsules of three different strengths. They are CeeNU 10 mg, CeeNU 40 mg and CeeNU 100 mg.
The ingredients of CeeNU are Iomustine, magnesium sterate and mannitol.
Side effects of CeeNU
Almost all drugs are known to cause side effects or, in rare cases, allergic reactions. If you are allergic towards any ingredient in CeeNU, you may suffer from side effects such as skin inflammations and hair loss. If you experience them, stop taking the medication as soon as possible.

When on CeeNU, women should avoid getting pregnant. Moreover, it is not recommended that you take this drug while you are breastfeeding, unless your doctor prescribed it.
Dosage of CeeNU
CeeNU is a very powerful drug and it should only be administered under the supervision of a qualified physician. Overdose of the drug might result in death, so a patient should only consume one CeeNU 100 mg tablet once in six weeks or one CeeNU 10 mg tablet per week.
After each dose, the blood count will be constantly monitored and the next dose should be given only when the count returns to a normal range.
Interactions
You have to be very careful when you buy CeeNU. Interactions with other drugs will cause a delay in myelosuppression. In some cases, four weeks after the administration of this drug, thrombocytopenia may occur. After two weeks, leucopenia may occur due to drug interactions. Both these conditions are very dangerous.
