The dosage of Declomycin is determined by your doctor based on a proper medical evaluation of your condition. You must follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor. This medicine is to be continued after at least 24 or 48 hours pass after the symptoms have subsided.
For adults, the recommended daily dose is limited to 600mg, with the usual division being 4 doses 150mg or 2 doses of 300mg. For children over the age of 8 years, the dosage is calculated as per the weight of the patient. The recommended dose in this case is 7-13mg per kg of weight. However, the daily dose is not recommended to exceed 600mg.
