General Information on Evoclin
Evoclin is indicated in the treatment of moderate to severe acne. It may be used alone or along with other drugs to treat acne. The medication can only control acne, not cure it.
Clindamycin, the main ingredient in Evoclin, belongs to a family of drugs known as antibiotics. It works by binding itself to the subunit of the bacterial ribosome, which inhibits protein synthesis. This action causes death of bacterium as they are unable to replicate, which is necessary for the survival and growth of bacterial cells. Decrease in bacterial population reduces infection and inflammation caused by the bacteria.
Evoclin is available in the form of a topical cream. You may buy Evoclin online if you are suffering from a severe acne problem. The medication may also cause side effects, so consult your doctor before using this medication.
Side effects of Evoclin
Evoclin may cause mild to severe side effects in some people. It is not necessary that every person using the medication will experience side effects. You should remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he/she is of the opinion that the benefits of drug are far greater than its potential to cause side effects.
Mild dryness of the treated skin, mild itching or burning sensation, irritation, or redness are some less serious side effects associated with the drug. These side effects subside as your body gets used to Evoclin. If any of the above mentioned side effects continue or turn severe, consult your doctor immediately.
Evoclin may also cause severe side effects such as watery or bloody diarrhea, dryness, itching or severe redness in areas where the medication is applied. You should immediately consult your doctor if you notice or experience severe side effects after using Evoclin.

Your doctor will give you specific instructions regarding the use of Evoclin topical ointment. Do not use the medication in larger amounts than recommended as it may increase the risk of side effects. Wash your hands before and after applying the medication.
Wash your face with a mild cleanser or soap and pat dry before applying the cream. Apply a thin film of Evoclin cream on the acne affected area twice daily or as recommended by your doctor.
