General Information on Humalog Insulin Vial
Humalog Insulin Vial is used for treating diabetes mellitus in children and adult patients. It is given to patients who need insulin for maintaining normal glucose homeostasis.
Active ingredient in the medicine is Insulin Lispro, which is a fast-acting form of insulin analog. Insulin Lispro allows the medicine to get absorbed quickly as compared to the regular insulin.
The medicine works by lowering the level of glucose in the patient’s body. The medicine is available in the form of a subcutaneous injection. Because it is a fast-acting insulin form, you will usually be advised to take a longer-acting insulin form along with it.
