The median time for response in three ovarian trials is nine to twelve weeks and median time for response in four small cell lung cancer clinical trials is five to seven weeks. If the patient were to develop severe neutropenia during the treatment, the dosage should be reduced by 0.25 mg/m² (to 1.25 mg/m²) for subsequent courses.
