Basic Information On Invega
Invega is primarily used for the treatment of patients with schizophrenia. It is an atypical antipsychotic drug. Patients with schizophrenia are administered the drug as monotherapy or adjunctive therapy. The Invega drug can also be used to maintain their condition. It is not approved for patients with dementia related psychosis as initial clinical trials have indicated an increase in the number of deaths as compared to a placebo. In adjunctive therapy, Invega can be used along with mood stabilizers and/ or antidepressants.
