Side effects of Isopto Homatropine
Isopto Homatropine may also cause mild to severe side effects in some people. Dosage of Isopto Homatropine
Your doctor will give specific instructions regarding use of the medication. Wash your hands with soap and water before administering Isopto Homatropine into your eyes. Take adequate care not to touch the tip of the dropper or let it touch the eye while administering the medication drop in the eye, as it will contaminate the solution.
If you are wearing contact lenses, remove them before administering the medication into eye(s). You can wear contact lenses again, 15-20 minutes after using the medication. Administer one drop of Isopto Homatropine into the eye and close your eyes for 2 minutes.
You may be required to use the medication 2-3 times daily after every 3-4 hours or as directed by your doctor. Do not rub your eyes after administering Isopto Homatropine eye drops in the eye.
Interactions
Isopto Homatropine may interact with other medicines you are using and cause side effects. It may interact with medications such as antiarrhythmic drugs, antihistamines, tricyclic antidepressants, antispasmodics, specific drugs used in Parkinson's disease treatment, MAO inhibitors and other eye medications.
