The generic name of Levlen is Levonorgestrel or Ethinyl Estradiol and it is a second generation synthetic progestogen. Levlen interacts with certain medicines like indinavir, atorvastatin, troleandomycin, azole antifungals, barbiturates, protease inhibitors, hydantoins, penicillin, oxcarbazepine, and beta-blockers.
