In Neoplastic diseases, this drug is administered in tablet form since absorption is quick and serum levels are also obtained. In adult rheumatoid arthritis, the recommended dosage is a single oral dose of 7.5 mg once in a week. In children the recommended dosage is 10 mg/m2 given once in a week.
