General Information on Metrolotion
Metrolotion is used to treat the chronic skin condition rosacea, a type of skin disease in adults. This skin disorder is also known as adult acne and leads to inflammation and skin eruptions like acne. The medication is intended to reduce the severity of acne, inflammation, and redness caused by rosacea.
Metronidazole, the main active ingredient in the medication, belongs to a group of drugs known as antibiotics. It works by entering the bacterial cells and causing a chemical reaction which kills the bacterial cells.
Metrolotion is available in the form of a topical lotion. The Metronidazole strength in the lotion is 7.5%. It is a prescription medication, which means it is necessary to consult your doctor before you buy Metrolotion.
Side effects of Metrolotion
All medicines have side effects. Metallic taste, stinging, dryness, burning, headache, skin irritation, nausea, and redness are some less serious side effects associated with the drug. Dosage of Metrolotion

Smear a thin coat of Metrolotion on the affected skin. Do not apply the lotion around the eyes unless your doctor has told you to do so. Don’t use any cosmetics on the area (where the medication is applied) for at least 5 minutes after applying the medication.

Interactions
