General Information on Parsitan

Ethopropazine is the generic name for Parsitan. Considered a phenothiazine derivative, it is mostly prescribed for being an antiparkinsonian agent with antiadrenergic, anticholinergic, and antihistamine actions. It is also used for alleviating extrapyramidal syndrome, which is induced by several drugs like phenothiazine compounds. Parsitan is prescribed for treatment of Parkinson's disease or shaking palsy.
