Spectracef Dosage
The recommended dosage of Spectracef for adults and children above the age of 12 years, is 400 mg, if the patient is suffering from Community-Acquired Pneumonia, 400 mg for Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis, 200 mg for Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis, 200 mg for Uncomplicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections. Spectracef should be taken with a meal. For patients suffering from moderate renal impairment, the recommended dosage is not more than 200 mg and 200 mg for patients suffering from severe renal impairment. No dosage adjustment is required for patients suffering from moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class A or B).
