Suprefact Depot is used for the treatment of prostate cancer in men. It imitates the action of gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH or LHRH). This hormone is released by the hypothalamus gland in the brain and it controls the production of testosterone in men and estrogen in women. This gland releases the gonadotropin hormone in controlled bursts but this medicine releases the gonadotropin hormone constantly in the body.
