Sustiva belongs to the family of medications known as non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It is an antiviral medicine used to treat HIV. It is a part of the Highly Active Anti Retro Viral Treatment. HIV causes the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
