General Information on Tambocor
Flecainide is the generic name of Tambocor and it is primarily prescribed for the treatment and prevention of various irregular heartbeat disturbances. Tambocor is an antiarrhythmic and it helps in stabilizing the heart rhythm, particularly in those suffering from irregular or fast rhythm or heart rate. The active ingredient in Tambocor is Flecainide acetate, which is a class Ic antiarrhythmic agent. You can buy Tambocor online only if your doctor has prescribed it. It is used for the treatment of a variety of conditions related to cardiac arrhythmia like paroxysmal atrial fibrillation or episodic irregular heartbeat, ventricular tachycardia, and paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. Some of the severe side effects of Tambocor include worsening of arrhythmia, increasing occurence of proarrhythmic events, cases of unresuscitable ventricular fibrillation (VT or cardiac arrest), elevated levels of serum alkaline phosphatase, elevated levels of serum transaminase, cholestasis and hepatic failure, and rare cases of blood dyscrasias. Precautions

The dosage can be increased in increments of 50mg every day if required, but the maximum dose should not exceed Tambocor 400 mg per day.
Interactions
There are quite a few drugs that can interact with Tambocor. These include calcium channel blockers like verapamil, serotonin norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors like duloxetine, HIV protease inhibitors like ritonavir, beta-blockers like sotalol, and serotonin receptor antagonists like dolasetron.
