General Information on Urispas
Urispas contains flavoxate hydrochloride, a urinary tract antispasmodic, as its active ingredient. Flavoxate treats symptoms of bladder disorders like urgency, nocturia, dysuria and incontinence by relaxing the smooth muscles of the bladder, which relieves the pressure on the urinary tract. Patients suffering from spasms in the urinary bladder due to disorders like cystitis, urethritis, urethrotrigonitis, and prostatitis are often asked to buy Urispas by their doctors.
Urispas, which is also known as Flavoxate, is available only on prescription in the form of white, round tablets of two variable strengths- Urispas 100mg and Urispas 200 mg. Urispas 100mg is more commonly prescribed by doctors. The inactive components are calcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, cellulose acetate phthalate, castor oil, polyethylene glycol, talc and starch.
Side effects of Urispas

In case of an overdose, professional aid should be taken immediately. Urispas should be stored at room temperature, ranging between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. A missed dose must never be accounted for by a double dose.
Interactions
Urispas interacts harmfully with Pramlintide and should be avoided together. The doctor’s discretion is essential, especially if a patient is currently taking :
