Vigamox is an antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis. It belongs to a class of drugs called fluoroquinolones. The next dose should be administered on time. If more than one ophthalmic topical medication is being used, then each of these should be administered at least 5 minutes apart. Dosage should not exceed one drop. No dose adjustments are required for the renal or hepatic impaired. The drug should not be used for longer than prescribed, as the body can build resistance to it and reduce the effectiveness of future treatment.
