Xyzal is an antihistamine. It is used to treat seasonal and perennial allergies in patients over 2 years of age and older. Curbs the regeneration of allergies and suppresses active elements. It begins to work in 60 minutes and continues to be effective for 24 hours. It also treats uncomplicated skin manifestations like swelling and itching due to chronic urticaria (hives). Xyzal should not be used for patients under 6 months of age.
