IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING OUR SERVICE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Covid-19 Service Update

At North Drugstore, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic affecting us all, there have been some changes within our industry in general, and in our company specifically, that we want to make our customers aware of.

Call Center

Our current call center hours of operation are 6AM – 9PM every day, seven days per week. If you are experiencing increased hold times or are calling outside of these hours, please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Due to increased demand on telephone networks worldwide, you may experience some intermittent connection problems. If this happens our agents will call you back.

Shipping

We are currently seeing delays in our regular shipping times. Our normal shipping time averages 1 - 2 weeks. Shipments may now take an additional 2 – 4 weeks or more to arrive, depending on the source country of your order.

Please note that these times are averages and individual shipping times will vary. We highly recommend that you place your order at least 2 – 4 weeks or more ahead of your normal reorder time to avoid running out of your medication.

These are industry-wide delays and are mainly occurring due to disruptions in local postal delivery in the countries where our customers live. They are temporary, and we thank the shipping and delivery personnel who are working hard for all of us during this global crisis.

Please Note: As these types of shipping delays are not within our direct control, we are temporarily adjusting our regular Shipping Guarantee from 30 days to 60 days. We will provide updates as the situation changes.

Our Commitment

If you have any questions about any changes in our service please do not hesitate to contact us. Our staff are working tirelessly to ensure the timely fulfillment and delivery of all orders. The health of our customers and staff is our highest priority and we remain committed to providing service at the highest level.

We thank you for your support in these challenging times.

General Information on Fostimon

Fostimon is used to treat infertility due to certain causes in women. It is given to women who have polycystic ovary syndrome or those who are going through a conception treatment process such as GIFT, IVF or ZIFT.

Active ingredient in the medicine is Urofollitropin, and it belongs to the category of gonadotrophins. It is given to the patient in the form of an injection.

The medicine works by stimulating the patient’s ovary to produce eggs. Once the follicles have developed, the patient is given human chorionic gonadotrophin or HCG to encourage ovulation. In this way, pregnancy is attained with Fostimon.

Usually, patients would buy Fostimon if they have already tried Clomiphene treatment, but could not meet success in attaining pregnancy.

Side effects of Fostimon

Your doctor will not recommend you to buy Fostimon if you are suffering from uterine or breast cancer, ovarian cancer, tumors in hypothalamic or pituitary glands of brain, ovarian cysts, malfunctioning ovaries, enlarged ovaries, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, physical defects in cervix, fallopian tubes, ovaries or uterus, blocked fallopian tubes, premature menopause or uterine fibroids. This medicine is also not meant to be used by women who have got their uterus removed by hysterectomy.

If you become pregnant with Fostimon treatment, you may have more risks of attaining multiple pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy. Chances of miscarriage or an abortion are also higher than normal. Therefore, you should be mentally ready for these and talk to your doctor about the risks involved and precautions to take.

Women may commonly experience headache, bloating, constipation or ovarian hyperstimulation during Fostimon treatment. Local area reaction can also occur, identified by pain, redness or swelling at the injection site. These side effects can be easily managed with or without medical help. But inform your doctor promptly if any of these become too troublesome.

Inform your doctor immediately if you develop lethargy, excessive dizziness, mood changes, hyperthyroidism, difficulty breathing, erythema, nosebleeds, pruritis, breast pain or enlargement, increased bleeding period, hot flushes, fatigue or urinary tract infection. These may be signs of a serious underlying condition and needs to be treated as soon as possible.

In some cases, the medicine may lead to blood clots in the blood vessels. This may lead to a condition termed as thromboembolism.

Dosage of Fostimon

Fostimon 75 or 150IU injection is given to the patient subcutaneously. The dosage recommended to you will depend on your age, severity of your condition, other medical conditions you are suffering from and other treatment procedures you have already undergone.

Usually, the injection is given in your abdominal region or on the front part of your thigh.

Drug Interactions of Fostimon

As you are trying to get pregnant with Fostimon treatment, stop using any barrier form or hormonal contraceptives. Also tell your doctor about any other hormonal medicines you are taking at present, as they may change hormonal levels in your body and may affect the way Fostimon is designed to work.

Apart from these, inform your doctor about all the prescription drugs or over-the-counter medicines you are taking at present. Depending on these, your doctor will be able to decide whether Fostimon is the right medication for you or not.
