Covid-19 Service Update

At North Drugstore, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic affecting us all, there have been some changes within our industry in general, and in our company specifically, that we want to make our customers aware of.

Call Center

Our current call center hours of operation are 6:00 am – 9:00 pm, seven days a week. If you are experiencing increased hold times or are calling outside of these hours, please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Due to increased demand on telephone networks worldwide, you may experience some intermittent connection problems. If this happens our agents will call you back.

We are currently seeing delays in our regular shipping times. Our normal shipping time averages 1 - 2 weeks. Shipments may now take an additional 2 – 4 weeks or more to arrive, depending on the source country of your order. Shipments from the United Kingdom and Canada are generally quicker than from other countries.

Please note that these times are averages and individual shipping times will vary. We highly recommend that you place your order at least 2 – 4 weeks or more ahead of your normal reorder time to avoid running out of your medication.

These are industry-wide delays and are mainly occurring due to disruptions in local postal delivery in the countries where our customers live. They are temporary, and we thank the shipping and delivery personnel who are working hard for all of us during this global crisis.

Please Note: We are now resuming our normal 30-Day Shipping Guarantee. We will provide updates as the situation changes.

Our Commitment

If you have any questions about any changes in our service please do not hesitate to contact us. Our staff are working tirelessly to ensure the timely fulfillment and delivery of all orders. The health of our customers and staff is our highest priority and we remain committed to providing service at the highest level.

We thank you for your support in these challenging times.

Full information about Plendil

General Information on Plendil

Plendil is indicated in treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Felodipine, the main active ingredient in the medication, is a calcium antagonist which belongs to a group of drugs known as calcium channel blockers.

Felodipine blocks the calcium channels that decrease the amount of calcium entering the smooth muscle cells in the arterial walls and heart muscles. This action causes relaxation and widening of the blood vessels, and the heart is able to pump blood more freely, which helps lower blood pressure.

Plendil is available in the form of an extended release tablet. It is supplied in three strengths- Plendil 2.5mg, Plendil 5mg and Plendil 10mg. The drug is a prescription medication, which means you should consult your doctor before you buy Plendil online.

Side effects of Plendil

Plendil may cause mild to severe side effects in some people. The common side effects caused by the drug can be categorized into common side effects and rare side effects. The rare side effects are experienced by very few people using Plendil. The common side effects wane over time as your body gets used to the medication.

Common side effects associated with Plendil are: headaches, swelling of the feet, hands or lower legs, flushing of the skin, dizziness, upset stomach, upper respiratory tract infections, weakness, indigestion or dizziness. Rare side effects associated with Plendil are: constipation, runny nose, nausea, sneezing, warm sensation, or coughing. If any side effects persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor.

Plendil may also cause severe side effects or allergic reactions in some people. Severe side effects associated with the medication are: chest pain, rapid weight gain, signs of low blood pressure (such as fainting, dizziness or lightheadedness), water retention, severe swelling, irregular heart rhythm, depression or high blood sugar.

Allergic reactions caused by Plendil include: difficulty breathing/swallowing, hives, unexplained swelling or itching, wheezing or rash. Seek medical attention immediately if you notice or experience severe side effects or allergic reactions after using the medication.

Plendil is listed as a category C pregnancy medicine. It is not known whether the drug passes into breast milk and how it may affect the nursing baby. Therefore, nursing mothers and pregnant women should exercise caution regarding the use of this drug. They should buy Plendil only after learning about the risks and benefits of using the drug from their doctor.

Dosage of Plendil

The Plendil dosage depends on several factors such as your age, other medical conditions you are suffering from, and other drugs you are using. Swallow the tablet whole, and do not chew or crush it. Take the medication at the same time each day. This helps maintain even levels of medication in the blood.

The recommended initial dose for adults is one Plendil 5mg tablet daily. You doctor may increase the dose to one Plendil 10mg tablet if the recommended dose is not enough to lower high blood pressure or decrease the dose to one Plendil 2.5mg tablet if there are side effects.

Plendil may interact with other medicines you are using and cause side effects. It may interact with specific seizure medications, protease inhibitors, Tacrolimus, Delavirdine, Imatinib, Nefazodone, Cimetidine, or specific antibiotics/antifungals.

Before you buy Plendil, tell the doctor about every medicine you take. Before starting the treatment, give him/her a list of drugs that includes all the prescription medicines, over the counter drugs and herbal supplements you are using.
