IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING OUR SERVICE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Covid-19 Service Update

At North Drugstore, the health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. Due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic affecting us all, there have been some changes within our industry in general, and in our company specifically, that we want to make our customers aware of.

Call Center

Our current call center hours of operation are 6AM – 9PM every day, seven days per week. If you are experiencing increased hold times or are calling outside of these hours, please leave us a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Due to increased demand on telephone networks worldwide, you may experience some intermittent connection problems. If this happens our agents will call you back.

Shipping

We are currently seeing delays in our regular shipping times. Our normal shipping time averages 1 - 2 weeks. Shipments may now take an additional 2 – 4 weeks or more to arrive, depending on the source country of your order.

Please note that these times are averages and individual shipping times will vary. We highly recommend that you place your order at least 2 – 4 weeks or more ahead of your normal reorder time to avoid running out of your medication.

These are industry-wide delays and are mainly occurring due to disruptions in local postal delivery in the countries where our customers live. They are temporary, and we thank the shipping and delivery personnel who are working hard for all of us during this global crisis.

Please Note: As these types of shipping delays are not within our direct control, we are temporarily adjusting our regular Shipping Guarantee from 30 days to 60 days. We will provide updates as the situation changes.

Our Commitment

If you have any questions about any changes in our service please do not hesitate to contact us. Our staff are working tirelessly to ensure the timely fulfillment and delivery of all orders. The health of our customers and staff is our highest priority and we remain committed to providing service at the highest level.

We thank you for your support in these challenging times.

Full information about Monopril-HCT

General Information on Monopril HCT

Monopril HCT is a drug given to patients suffering from high blood pressure and/or heart failure. It may also be prescribed for other uses by the doctor. Monopril HCT is a combination of a thiazide diuretic called hydrochlorothiazide and an ACE inhibitor called fosinopril. Hydrochlorothiazide helps in preventing excess salt absorption, and fosinopril lowers blood pressure. The generic name of Monopril HCT is hydrochlorothiazide and fosinopril.

Side effects of the drug

Before you buy Monopril HCT online, it is best to know about how your body may or may not react to the drug. Monopril HCT users may experience a number of side effects. Some of these side effects are minor and go away in time and do not require serious medical attention. These are:

  • Muscle and joint pain and aches
  • Headaches and dizziness
  • Fatigue
  • Cough problems
  • Constipation, diarrhea
  • Sweating and mild skin rashes

Users of Monopril HCT may also experience some other side effects apart from the ones listed above. These side effects may be of a more serious nature, and a doctor should be immediately consulted should any of these side effects be experienced. Some of these major side effects of Monopril HCT are as follows:

  • Severe vision problems
  • High or low potassium levels in the body
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fatigue and drowsiness
  • Jaundice
  • Changes in urinating pattern
  • Breathing difficulties and weight issues
  • Symptoms of flu, fever and sudden chills

Before one decides to buy Monopril HCT, a few precautions need to be kept in mind. Firstly, patients who have allergies to other ACE inhibitors should avoid the drug and take an alternate medication. People who have had liver, kidney or diabetes problems in the past should consult a doctor before deciding to use Monopril HCT. Pregnant women should also pay a visit to their doctor because the medication may harm the unborn baby. Breastfeeding women must also avoid Monopril HCT while they are nursing their children.

Dosage

Monopril HCT comes in the form of a tablet. It should be used strictly as per the doctor’s prescriptions. There should be no alteration in the amount of the drug taken from the amount mentioned in the prescription. The active ingredients in Monopril HCT, hydrochlorothiazide and fosinopril, play a key role by removing excess fluid and salt from the body, thus making it susceptible to dehydration. Dehydration in turn can lead to several health problems. To avoid dehydration, it is advised that you to drink plenty of water during the course of the treatment. Blood pressure levels are also often checked during the course of Monopril HCT therapy, so users should not skip any appointments with their doctor.

Interactions

Drug interactions are a common feature when multiple substances used by an individual interact with each other and hamper each other’s roles and bring about certain negative side effects. Substances like lithium, steroids, NSAIDs, diabetes medications, and other diuretics should be avoided when using Monopril HCT. Consult your doctor if you are on any drugs before you decide to buy Monopril HCT.
